SWAP YOUR CLEANERS FOR A MORE NATURAL ALTERNATIVE
PaPa partner AspenClean is gearing up for its 3rd annual product swap event taking place on Earth Day (April 21) from 1-3 PM.
AspenClean is partnering up with Whole Foods Market across Vancouver (Robson, Park Royal, Cambie, Kitsilano locations) and is inviting the public to bring in a traditional cleaning product to swap for a free 100% Ecocert approved AspenClean replacement cleaning product. (*max one swap per person) The National Toxicology Program reports that there are now 80,000 forms of chemical compounds found in everyday cleaning products and up to 8,000 of these chemicals are carcinogenic, which is linked to cancer. AspenClean’s annual swap is one way this local company is trying to change consumers’ cleaning product habits.
Last year’s product swap with Whole Foods and AspenClean resulted in over 2,000 bottles of harmful cleaning products being removed from Vancouver homes. This year AspenClean is hoping to increase that number even further. PaPa fans: be sure to visit the Robson St. Whole Foods (or whichever location is closest to you) to take advantage of this great Earth Day event.
